Welcome to this week’s astrology forecast.

The big news this week is the Super Moon in Capricorn on Monday July 3. This full moon is bright, as it is appears closer in it’s orbit to Earth than usual.

On Tuesday, the 4th of July, this Full Moon joins Pluto at 29 degrees Capricorn. This moon acts as an initiating aspect. When it reaches the moon, it ignites a more intense storyline of America’s Pluto return. (For more details on this aspect, read my article on America’s Pluto Return here.)

In addition to the Pluto transformations, we are experiencing our last 2 weeks with the Nodes in Taurus and Scorpio. Continue the forward path, as Jupiter has 2 more weeks of inflating your North Node Taurus projects before it leaves Taurus and moves into Aries.

This week, Sun and Mercury in Cancer continue to remind us of days gone by, while Venus and Mars in Leo, square Uranus, is showing off a different style.

The story in our own lives, and what we are doing with it, is an important focus this week. Fostering creative talents, building a future around things you love, and deeper spiritual practice will be your guiding light.

Take initiative early this morning, and go after what you need to feel safe and secure. The Moon makes a trine to Sag early, at 5:19am. The moon goes void of course soon after, supporting a break. Moon squaring Neptune tells us to focus on creative pursuits. Avoid the cloudy pitfalls of dishonest stories.

When the Moon enters Capricorn at 1:20pm, it trines the nodes of the moon and Sextiles Saturn. Slow down the party vibes and take care of family responsibilities. A good moment to take stock of past, present and future plans.

There is an extra sizzle in the air today, with Uranus making a square to Venus and Mars. Unexpected passion could flare. Find a way to safely express exuberant feelings. Socializing, with a boost from Sun Sextile Jupiter, brings in positive growth opportunities. New people? Maybe it’s time for more unique friends.

This weekend we had a good push of positive energy, preparing us for the Full Moon in Capricorn this morning at 7:39am. The full moon is a “Super Moon,” which means it appears brighter and larger due to its closer orbit to earth.

Like all full moons, the full moon today in Capricorn will oppose the Sun and Mercury in Cancer. A balancing act between cooler emotions and happy memories features. With Venus in its shadow, about to go retrograde, are you considering a break-up or change? The Sun and Mercury in Cancer is shining a light on good memories of the past. Uranus squaring Venus and Mars feeds the need for something different. The moon in Capricorn knows what it needs to do, as it marches towards Pluto transformations. Enjoy the good times, knowing change always comes.

Neptune continues a sextile to Pluto, helping us all march bravely into the changes around us. Positive Jupiter and Saturn aspects shore up our strength, keeping us on a steady path.

As we approach the midnight hour, Moon trines Uranus. You can feel the electricity in the air. People may let their guard down, express their feelings or seek a new thrill during this full Moon, even if it is in serious Capricorn.

The guard was let down last night. Now, it’s time to sober up and pay attention. The moon reaches Pluto today at 12:46pm. Before it does, it quincunxes Venus and Mars, saying “not so fast…where were you last night?” That’s how you know it’s about to hit the fan. Wrong moves here set the stage. Feelings erupt when the Moon hits Pluto, and we see an intensity that has been building for a long time.

When the moon reaches Aquarius at 2:30pm, you know your world has changed. That was fun, now it’s done. Aquarius wants something different. The Aquarius moon now squares the nodes, asking you an important question. Are you ready? Have you done everything you need to do, setting yourself up financially and with supplies during the Taurus North Node, to get you through the nodal shift coming up ahead on July 17th? The nodes enter Aries/Libra that day. Aries is a fast, independence, warrior. Libra is justice, partnerships and balance. What needs to be done, still, to become that warrior? This Moon is your reminder, as it begins to wane towards the new cycle.

If there is any remainder stress from yesterday, it can be felt today with the quincunx energy from the Moon to Venus and Mars. Don’t let it pull you down. Your challenge today, if you choose to accept it: channel the Neptune quincunx Mars energy to the positive. Meditate, pray, visualize, create.

This day can either take you to a higher power, or leave you in a confused puddle. Put those spiritual practices to work.

This Aquarius Moon is giving us the first breath of air energy we’ve had this week. Use it to gain some intellectual distance from the deep feelings.

This evening, the Aquarius moon works its way into a pressure filled T-square. Mars and Venus in Leo, Squaring Uranus, meet the moon in Aquarius for some challenges to our actions. Armor up for tomorrow’s transits.

Patience, today. T-square energy and a yod this morning brings the pressure way up. Mars, direct, is at the point of the Yod, with Neptune and Pluto in retrograde.

All of these retrogrades have been uncovering hidden things. Now, it’s all getting reviewed. As more news comes out, so does the anger. Mars squaring Uranus and opposing the moon is looking for a fight. The Moon in Aquarius, square Uranus in Taurus, is fanning the flames.

Go to the gym to work off the stress. Then, run the clock down until the afternoon, when the Moon extricates itself from these difficult angles.

At 1:33pm, the Moon enters Pisces. Take some time evaluate your feelings. With the Part of Fortune with Mars this evening, have some fun with your kids. They have been under a lot of pressure, too. Mars in Quincunx to Neptune, and a moon in Pisces, can give some creative time. Paint a picture to some beautiful music.

The moon joins Saturn as we head into midnight. At this point, most are ready for a rest. Totally tapped out emotionally? Look over family photos as a reminder to why you do all the hard things you do. Or, just say your prayers and go to bed.

All that practice keeping your cool this week gets a lot easier. Positive trines from the Moon in Pisces to the Sun and Mercury in Cancer put everyone under a collective sigh of relief. Emotions flow easier now.

Keep the creative pursuits going. Intuitive energy is high, and so is creativity. The part of Fortune is with Neptune this morning. Some special blessings here, as we continue the Retrograde of re-thinking the fantasy. Be thankful for the gifts, visions and talents. Send those prayers right up.

Mercury in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus could help re-imagine a space that is unique and cozy. Or, get out and circulate to discover people that both understand you, but also challenge you with a unique perspective.

Saturday is a great morning spiritually for intuitive insights during your meditation. Even if this is not your normal practice, turn things off for a bit this morning. Tune into what God is telling you. Otherwise, confusion marks the day, with Neptune conjunct the Moon. A quincunx from Mars adds suspense or drama. Work on the spiritual insights instead.

At 3:19pm, the Moon enters Aries and doesn’t seem to bet getting into the conflicts it usually lends itself to. Time alone could be peaceful.

Mercury begins it’s opposition to Pluto, while Neptune is quincunx to Mars. The deeper subjects are at hand. A higher purpose needs defined on both a spiritual level and a physical one. Find ways to work this out, while also practicing caution. Mars in Leo, quincunx Pluto, these next two days, is a potential for willfulness and blocked energy. This can freak cause accidents. Lean into the spiritual conversations. Avoid the dogmatic fights.
