New Moon in Aquarius - Week Ahead Forecast, Feb 5 - 11, 2024
The Crossroads to the Future
I often consider 2024 to be a transitional year. This week, we have reached a point of culmination, where the past meets the future. Where should we go, and what should we do?
Thankfully, a New Moon on Friday, February 9th at 20º Aquarius brings us an opportunity to make a fresh start.
The Lunar nodes have been in a square to Pluto for much of their trek through Aries/Libra. Everything we tried to do recently has felt hard. Now, with all planets direct, and the square to Pluto dissolved, we see some light shining through.
We have had many aspects with Chiron, the Wounded Healer. Chiron is now traveling within a degree of the North Node. This pushes our evolutionary process through painful lessons and wounds. In what ways have the last couple of weeks shown hard lessons? Where does the peace need to be made?
This week, Venus squares the nodes, putting us at a crossroads with love and money. Are fears holding us in the past? Can we push forward to the future now?
As we work through our own individual path, the Aquarian Moon gets ignited by a conjunction with Pluto. How is this Dark Moon pulling out our deepest desires?
Expect yearnings to be more passionate and obsessive. There is an edge to the changes we must make. This may feel different and odd, unlike anything we’ve ever attempted before.
Regarding love and money, there is an opening to take risks. Of course, these risks must be grounded and imbued with patience. How can we grow what we treasure and value? Uranus in Taurus and Venus in Capricorn are willing to let things grow over time—as long as we make the jump in with inventive ideas.
Do things differently from the mainstream, and watch how this pays out in 2024. As long as you can bring something to society that is both solid and realistic, it has the potential to stand the test of time against the Pluto in Aquarius transformations.
Whatever moves you make, the most success will go to those being led by God’s will. In everything you pursue, ask yourself, “What is the point? Where is the purpose?”
The Sun passed Pluto on January 20th. Do you recall any changes in your life around that time? Or, an awareness in the direction your world is taking?
Communications will already begin to move us towards change on Monday, now that Mercury has reached a conjunction with Pluto. I wouldn’t be surprised if new, futuristic words are invented this month to align with the transformations we make in this Age of Aquarius.
As we enter this week, take some time to set your intentions for the New Moon in Aquarius. Use what you’ve learned from the past to jump yourself into the future. How can we use this New Moon as plutonium, fueling your goals, Back to the Future style?

P.S. Looking ahead…
After many months of missing the mark, Venus and Mars meet in a conjunction in Aquarius on February 22. But first, Mars and Venus will touch base with Pluto as they pass into Aquarius on February 14th and 17th, respectively.
By touching base with Pluto before this Venus Mars conjunction, we can expect the darkest secrets and most intense passions to collide in a war between male and female, money and war, leadership and dictatorship.
Where will there be great unions? Where will there be battles and breaks?
