Today’s astrology chart looks like blocks falling into place. We begin this day with a New Moon in Leo at 5:38amEST. The Sun is with the Moon, lighting our way towards fresh starts. This is a good time to begin new projects and “plant seeds.”
Uranus in square to this New Moon brings an electric spark to these baby seedlings. This is a great morning to innovate. Anything you undertake now has the potential to set you apart from the competition. Focus wild, erratic energy towards the creative process. Genius moments are possible.
The transit North and South Nodes receive positive aspects from today’s New Moon, helping us move towards those goals. Being creative in that area of your life is blessed now. We are heading deeper into retrograde season. In early September, there are a couple of weeks with up to 6 or 7 planets in retrograde or shadow. The slowdown of progress on new endeavors will be felt. Use this week as a final push towards the new things you must complete.
Before the Leo Moon enters Virgo at 7:14pm tonight, we have a return of quincunx energy. The Moon makes a Yod with Neptune and the South Node. This increases sensitivity. There could be some disjointed emotional energy at home today, around 1:30pm, as emotions come to terms with losses. Lean into God’s will and let go.
Mercury is in it’s shadow, preparing for a retrograde on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. This slow Mercury in Virgo makes a quincunx to Chiron, forcing clunky communications about past hurts. The need to speak your truth can come out as hurtful. There could be mental blocks in accessing dark places of pain. Be aware that your words, while important for you to voice, won’t likely be well received by some.
The moon in quincunx to Pluto at 4:17pm brings us deeper and more intense feelings. There is an unnerving edginess as a result of pressure and negative thoughts. Take a deep breath and meditate on the things that are flowing well. Imagine the blocks are moving into place just right.
At 7:14pm, the Moon enters Virgo. This moon joins Mercury and Mars in Virgo. These next 2.5 days, the detailed workings of your mind are in flow with actions and communications. A helping hand of trine energy from Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus brings expansion, good fortune and unexpected possibilities. Solve problems and organize the flow of your life. There is a lot of support in doing things well.
