Let Go and Prepare for Battle - Today's Astrology Chart and Forecast
Use today to get organized, both physically and emotionally. We are all feeling tired, worn down, and worried. We must let go of how things were, mourn their passing, and be ready for battle. It is eclipse season. We are in a dark Balsamic Moon, preparing for an intense new cycle.
The Moon leaves Leo and enters Virgo this morning at 8:02 a.m. An earth sign moon, dealing with details, could help us organize facts floating around, causing fear, worry, and depression. However, it is likely that this Moon, when it joins with Venus at 10:46 a.m., brings our emotions under even more pressure.
The Virgo moon joins Venus in Virgo at 10:46 a.m., triggering Venus's opposition to Saturn. Could there be a moment today that defines the hardships we face with relationships and finances? Pay attention to the clues to better navigate these challenges.

The moon is officially Balsamic at 12:17pm. This is the ending, dark phase of the moon. We put this month’s cycle of topics to rest. Let go and release, as we move on towards quickly changing stories.
At 9:10 p.m., Pluto stations in direct motion at 27º Capricorn. This is the exact same degree as America’s Pluto return. We enter the third and final pass of this transformative energy. Pluto is painful and ruthless. Likely, this transit, will bring major events to America, as we are only 5 days away from the Solar Eclipse on October 14th. This eclipse passes directly over America, and it hits
America’s midheaven of 21 degrees Libra. (This is based on the chart I use for America, which is 6:30 p.m. on July 4, 1776). This angle of the midheaven squares America’s 7th house descendant line, which is loaded with planets. Whatever our allies and enemies are up to, and whatever we’ve done to or with other countries, will apply with a major result these next few months. It is frustrating for innocent Americans who just want to be safe and well respected in their homeland. We have to face the facts now, that America hasn't always been honest in dealing with foreign nations.
Whether we like it or not, we must pay attention to what is going on around us. Be safe and make smart choices. In this dark Moon Phase with Pluto finally moving direct, in square to the Nodes in Libra and Aries, there are warnings for violence. Use this dark moon to let go of what life used to be like. Let go of the old ways of feeling safe. Lock into the idea that things are different during a Pluto return. We are at the last degrees of a sign. Power struggles are here to grab and take. We, as a country, need to be strong and stoic. Realize there are transformations happening both in our lives and in the whole world.
At 2:21 a.m., the Sun opposes Chiron. This further intensifies the loneliness and fear that has been creeping in. How do we go on when there is so much hardship? We feel insecure and weak.
As this transit progresses, we begin to gather our strength, find helpers and healers, and dust ourselves off for the next battle.
The Sun rules Leo, so look in your chart where Leo is for a clue as to where you are feeling wounded. Also, Libra in your chart, where the Sun is now, offers clues.
Wednesday will be an odd day. I call it the waiting room. The Moon makes a positive trine to Jupiter at 11:06am before it goes Void of Course. We won’t see it make any major aspects until the next day: Thursday at 5:01am.
A Void of Course Moon shows us “nothing will come of it.” It is a great day to take care of basic earthly tasks and chores. New projects are a no-go, in a dark, void of course moon, before the eclipse.
Wrap up the old things. Life is about to change course. Mars enters Scorpio on Thursday, bringing in even more warlike energy. The positive of this change is that Mars is at home in Scorpio. Our actions with a Mars in Scorpio will be powerful and have good effects.
On Friday, Mars trines Saturn. This helps us to have the courage, ambition, and discipline to power through and get things done.
On Saturday, the eclipse hits at 2 p.m.
