Mercury entered Libra yesterday evening, bringing our communications towards partnerships, comparisons, and justice. Mercury is moving fast, and will only be here in Libra for 17 days.
This morning, the Moon enters Cancer at 8:32am. Cancer moons help us remember our past, to call our mother, and be nurturing to ourselves and others.
The Moon squares Mercury at 10:33am. The contemplation and weighing of justice could turn to gossip and drama. I am sure we will continue to see political talks play out today, as representatives—stand-ins for their home base—hash out who will be the new Speaker of the House.
Focus on your own work and your own business. People will be very sensitive, opinionated and territorial. Emotionally fueled clashes could happen. Continue to let it go, with Mars in Libra just past the South Node.
Saturn makes a trine to the moon, helping us focus on our own needs and the needs of our family. If you feel overwhelmed by life or homesick for the past, spend time with the family members that make life great. Learn from your elders; check in on them. If they passed away, talk and pray with them from the other side of the veil.
Try to keep things on the positive side. Saturn with the Moon can bring our mood down, thinking of all the restrictions in our lives. Mercury is also affected by Saturn, but with a Quincunx. The blessing in this is the ability to concentrate for a long period of time on a subject. Try to settle the self doubt that nags today and dig into work.
If you can channel your energy effectively, success is within your grasp. Mars makes an exact quincunx to Neptune. This is not an easy aspect, as this can weaken the body or cause confusion with actions. If you can center and focus near 7pm, there is a high success rate for music, arts and creative outlets. Neptune gives us a dreamy, otherworldliness, and Mars in Libra is soft romance. What is God leading you to create? This is a good time to dump the loud arguments on social media, and invest your time using the talents God imbued into you.
Starting this evening, and into tomorrow morning, we feel Venus in a Quincunx to Pluto. On the higher octave, this can be fantastic in awakening a deep desire we rarely feel in day to day connections. People want to feel alive; they want to feel in love. The downside is fascination and obsession that leads to disaster. People start to show their dark side—jealously, affairs, and forbidden behavior.
This intensity is further amplified with Black Moon Lilith’s recent ingress into Virgo yesterday. Black Moon Lilith is just waiting for Venus to leave her shadow and enter Virgo on the 7th of October. When these two meet up, we may begin to see behind the scenes romances that started when Venus was retrograde. Did someone reach out to their ex, and begin a secret affair? Whatever was hidden, Black Moon Lilith knows something about it. We could see the financial and political sectors sharing a few secrets, too.
The key today is transmuting energy to a positive vibration. If you can reach the highest expression of these energies, there are rich gifts in store for you and your family.
