Get Things Done, and Float Above the Fray - Today's Astrology Chart and Forecast

The Moon is back in action today, after a mostly Void-of-Course day yesterday.  Make the most of today to finish projects and to-do lists.  Tomorrow is another Void-of-Course Moon day as we prepare for an intense eclipse on Saturday, exact at 2:00 p.m. EST.

Mars entered Scorpio at 12:04 a.m., and we see it make a trine to Saturn.  This helps us put our actions to good use.

Mars in Scorpio, while in it's home sign, can be difficult due to it’s warlike nature.  Vendettas are pursued.  With the North Node currently in Aries, Mars in Scorpio, and the eclipse with the South Node in Libra, this points to the all-out aggression we’ve seen in the world.  A loss of justice, and an intense pursuit to win at all costs.

While it may not be all roses and sunshine in all parts of the world, we can use this domicile Mars to our advantage.  The building eclipse could change our course.  Endings and new beginnings are taking shape.  People may enter or leave our lives.  Mars in trine to Saturn helps us make our moves.  In what area of our lives do we need to pick up the pieces and start again?  

Something new enters our thoughts and emotions as the Moon in Virgo makes a trine to Uranus.  Do we need to find a new home? Considering moving somewhere else is heavy on the minds of so many.  Capricorns, especially, are feeling the need to course-correct. Uranus is currently in Capricorn’s 4th house of home.  This long transit may indicate frequent moves during this time period, or unusual changes on the homefront.  Cancers, Libras and Aries also feel this energy in an opposition or square.  The entire world is changing.  We’ve had many aspects to this Uranus in Taurus these past few months, making us all question our roots.  Would they be better off transplanted in an unorthodox location?

Moon trine Uranus also gives us this edgy, electric feeling, as if something is about to happen.  In addition, Mercury, the planet of communication, is in a quincunx with Jupiter.  This expands our thoughts and talks about what is possible.  

Armor up in prayer to float above and defend yourself from the propaganda machine in full force when the Moon opposes Neptune at 11:43 a.m. We have a kite formation in the sky, with a grand trine in earth signs, and a sextile with Neptune from Pluto and Uranus.  There is a bigger picture, with a lot of potential, underneath the drama.  If you are able to work through the Neptune Moon opposition striking down the middle of this kite formation, giving structure to this saga, there is a flight path away from the mess.  If you can make it off the ground and not get mired in the wet midday mud, enjoy the fresh air and new beginnings taking shape.  The Moon in Quincunx to the North Node also points to moving ahead on your independent life, while sidestepping the traps.

At 4:11pm, the Moon makes a trine to Pluto.  Deep, intense thoughts and desires plunge us into laser focus.  What do we want and need?  Keep dialing into this, so steps can be taken after the New Moon Solar Eclipse has passed. 

At 8:22pm, the intensity of this eclipse gets ignited with the Moon entering Libra.  This entrance into Libra, the same sign the eclipse will be in, triggers the acts about to unfold.  Keep the prayers going for spiritual protection during these very malefic and rare alignment energies in the sky.

Moon in a Quinunx to Saturn pulls us once again away from our family and towards responsibilities at 10:13 p.m. This is a practice in patience.  Get something to do while you are waiting.  Make the most of today’s Mars trine to Saturn to check things off your list.  

Tomorrow, the Moon is Void again most of the day.  This slows us down to really feel the intensity of Saturday’s eclipse.  

Work hard today, for some rest and contemplation tomorrow.
