An Eye on Finances, Another on Emotional Healing - Today's Astrology Chart and Forecast
Tomorrow is a Full Moon Lunar eclipse at 5° Taurus. Today, we continue the buildup. Working on ourselves, and dealing with the emotional fall-out of recent events, prepares us for Saturday’s eclipse. If you can take some downtime today, the moon is technically Void of Course. Lock into your work projects, or tune into emotional healing.
Finance Focus:
I mentioned earlier in the week this eclipse in Taurus could deal heavily with relationships, with Venus as it’s ruler. The other side to a Venus/Taurus Mars/Scorpio eclipse is money.
Taurus’ home is the second house of earned income and wealth. Venus rules money, jewelry, and cash.
Mercury is in Scorpio, opposing the Taurus axis. Scorpio’s home, the 8th house, rules other people’s money, investments, inheritances, and taxes.
Today, Mercury is at 8 degrees this morning, and will reach 11 degrees tomorrow evening. Mercury will join Mars in his opposition to Jupiter. This could put huge pressure on money and resources.
Keep an eye on your finances. Check investments, taxes, and banking issues.
Mars tends to destroy things. With mercury, internet banking systems could face trouble communicating. Have cash on hand in case of emergencies.
There is a pain in our hearts with Chiron conjunct the moon today. Lunar eclipses can be very emotional times. The moon conjunct Chiron stirs up our deepest wounds and fears. We must face where we don’t fit in, what is wrong with us, and where our feelings have been hurt. If we can come to terms with these insecurities, letting go into eclipse changes will become much easier.
Take the time to work on yourself. The Moon in Quincunx to Venus today could cause relationship tension. If you are feeling needy and wounded, it could throw off the balance of an already precarious situation. Find ways to show love to yourself. Let your soul know you deserve the best.
At 11:14pm, the Aries Moon reaches the nodal axis, in opposition to where the last eclipse took place. This Moon conjunct the North Node and opposite the South Node becomes a trigger for October 14th’s Solar Eclipse events to continue unfolding. This is also a sensitive point, where people begin to react more strongly to the injustices that have taken place.
At 11:16pm, just after the Moon reaches the nodes, the Nodes shift back into their retrograde position. Narratives begin to move forward again.
By midnight, we should begin to feel the Moon in square to Pluto, exact at 4:20am. This could indicate power struggles and dealing with deep emotional issues. If you face things, profound transformations can take place.
Tomorrow, the Moon enters Taurus at 7:44am.
Mars’ war-like opposition to Jupiter becomes exact, at 12:03pm.
The Lunar eclipse takes place at 4:14pm.
