Building New Bridges - Today's Astrology Forecast

Happy Friday! It’s the last day of the work week, and the Leo Full Moon dropped the hammer, it seems, on both love and money situations.

I’ve been hearing rumblings about the difficult job market, but yesterday there were multiple reports of large layoffs at big name companies. Not only are we feeling these losses and endings at this Leo Full Moon, we also begin to see the edge of Pluto in Aquarius, axing our corporate job market.

So, what do we do? How do we pull ourselves up from the pressure cooker we find ourselves in during this Full Moon energy?

The Moon continues in Leo today. We have smooth, difficult, and balancing energies, helping us to deal with our Full Moon moments. Leo rules the heart, asking us, “Can lead with our hearts, do something we love, and still pay the bills?”

Both Mars and Mercury in Capricorn are helping us to forcefully ask for the next opportunity. The Lunar Nodes and Chiron square this place of ambition within us. It may feel painful to re-visit those old haunts for a helping hand as we navigate this changing world. Thankfully, we find the support is there emotionally from those with their hearts in the right place—if we can learn from past lessons and make things new and innovative again.

The planets and nodes are encouraging us to re-invent ourselves with hard work and a sharp dose of independence. No longer can we rely on the old guard. Let go of what is not working. Say goodbye to the things that have ended.

As these next two weeks bring stories to a close, we must begin to ramp up in a new way. What can we build now that can sustain us—mind, body and spirit?

As Mercury and Mars square the nodes, ask the questions and accept the information in a way that will benefit your future steps.
