Working hard, getting things done, and aligning our actions with a higher purpose are the continued themes today. Trines and oppositions give us just enough ease and tension to be helpful to our goals.
If you are an early riser on the East Coat, the day starts off on a loving and harmonic tone with the Moon in Trine to Venus. Hobbies, artistic endeavors, beautiful music, and fun time with your partner are given a boost.
There is a generosity in the air with Moon Quincunx Jupiter at 7:50am. People are willing to help. Ask for what you need emotionally, even if it is hard. You may not always see eye to eye with some people, but you can find common ground in a positive way.
With the Moon in sporty Sagittarius, and three planets in Virgo, including Mercury retrograde, today is shaping up to be an ideal Fitness Friday. Get active, make plans for a more refined dietary approach, and form a workout schedule. With Venus still in retrograde, re-visit activities you used to do and love. What have you set aside? If you aren’t sure, start with a simple walk.
This afternoon, the Moon trines Chiron at 3pm. This is a time to get in touch with your feelings. Take that walk or get some exercise to transmute hurt energy into physical strength.
This is a good time for Mothers to ask their children more about their school day. Bless your children with a nurturing ear to hear about their hurts. Kids that have recently returned to the schooling system might have a lot to say.
By 6:43pm, the time to talk out feelings has passed. Keep judgmental opinions to yourself. Moon Square Mercury is best translated into powering through housework, chores, and preparations.
With Uranus slowing down, and a tropical storm brewing in the Gulf, and wildfires popping up everywhere, this is the moment you gather up family photos, important documents, and sentimental items into a storage bin. If there are last minute evacuations or inclement weather, you can be out the door in a flash with the most important items at hand. Transfer any worrying energy into concrete, responsible actions.
After a long and busy week, full of details and to-do lists, the tension is high. At 9:12pm, be careful of fights with family, egged on by the Sagittarius Moon in Quincunx to Uranus. Find an outlet. Do something different to shake off the week. If you can’t sleep, contemplate a short day trip to catch a break this weekend. Desire for change and freedom is strong.

Sunday September 3, 2023: Venus goes direct, but still in shadow.
Things have been reviewed and recharged during retrograde. We start to see a forward motion in all things beauty and love related. What’s new out there?
Venus leaves her shadow Oct. 7/8th. That’s the day to really see things move on.
